Most e-liquids are combined with different flavors like vanilla to create a unique feeling of satisfaction for the vaper. Additives like distilled water are used to dilute the e-liquid when it is too thick for vaping. Nicotine salts are a more potent form which uses a slightly different base.

There are different types of e-cigs. There is the Cig-a-likes, the Minis, the Mods, and the Personal Vaporizers.

Disposable Vapes

A disposable vape is simply a vape pen that cannot be recharged or refilled. It is usually featured in a rectangular stick and it comes with lithium-ion battery, atomizer and a cotton filled with nicotine salt. There is no charging slot or a way to refill your liquid.

They are the hottest craze because they are easy to use, disposable and very portable. They do not require a button. They draw activated so simply take a hit of it when you feel like it.

Cig-a-Likes (Disposables)

Cig-a-like is an abbreviation for cigarette-like. It is an electronic cigarette that is designed to look and feel just like the a rolled up tobacco. They take the same size and shapes of a real cigarette. Cig-a-likes are disposable and they have a fire-like LED light at the tip when you activated them.

These are referred to as first generation e-cigar as they look like tobacco cigarettes. With the advent of Minis, smokers had an alternative that was closer to the traditional method with lesser dangers. The limitations with the Minis are small battery power and limited flavor.

Personal Vaporizers

Personal vaporizers (PV) don’t look like a cigarette. Despite distinctive features, PVs heat your e-juice to produce vapors like e-cigs. There are different types of personal vaporizers. They usually come with a battery, an atomizer and a mouthpiece. They are usually 510 thread connections.

Mods

These are the newest technologies in an electronic cigarette. Mods are an advancement of regular vape pens. They are usually bigger in sizes, with larger battery capacities, and more complex in operations than e-cigars.
